En la Granja de la Montaña E I A O...

Yo quería saber como era eso
de vivir en una montaña
sin salir de allí por meses.
Así vive el Hombre de la Montaña E I A O.
Nosotras estuvimos allí solo 6 dias.

Nota:
Para aquellos que esten condundidos con las
siglas E I A O, es que quizá no conozcan la canción:
En el Arbol de la Montaña E I A O
¿se las canto? Mejor no...

Peter asked about a month ago
if I would join them on a backpacking trip
to a place called Bull Run Lake.
¿Lago Corrida de Toros?

It would be him and Kaniko (whom I met before)
and probably two other couples I didn't know.
"Of course!" I replied. And so...

three days after my fabulous climbing week in Yosemite
still in my adventure-mode or pro-leisure as Mountain Man calls it,
Renie dropped me off at Kaniko's home
with my backpack and a happy goobye kiss
"Have fun Mami!"

I was to miss Skylr's third fight but...
Sorry my love, as the old saying goes:
"montaña mata pelea"
did anyone know this?
mountain kills fight

Days with MountainMan

Mountainman from rennea on Vimeo.

I had some time and many choices:
work on my CD,
work on my Español for Kids fabulous project,
landscape my yard,
install a bunch of stuff into my computer
and more and more.

I chose instead to spend a week
with a complete stranger in the high sierra.
Mountainman has spent years in the woods.
He offered wilderness experience,
easy-goingness (new word in my dictionary)
and having all the climbing equipment needed.

I became an enthusiastic and motivated
partner in crime for pro-leisure time
(whatever that meant).

I mainly hoped that he wasn't pushy,
controlling or smelled bad...
and I did get my wish.

Furthermore, he turned out to be
a gentle, sweet, interesting man
with a nice smile and many stories to tell,
from milking goats to fighting bears.

Enjoy the picture-story in my gallery:
